— some pictures

This is what my desk has been looking like these days:

I steal a lot of candy from work.
Oh yeah, when Keung saw that I walked out with H&M with a box of band-aids, the first thing that comes out of her mouth was, “Mi Sa WOULD buy band-aids at H&M.”

I went out with Keung, her sister, and Choong last night after work. We went to the Glendale Galleria and worked OUT. Didn’t do any shopping.

I don’t remember the name of the first skincare shop we went into. But I sneaked a picture of this:

Then we went to Skin Food and I took a shot of their cute display.

Then inside, JC Penny, there were mirrors around the escalator so we took a quick group shot. Choong got cut, but this was the best picture.

And then, dinner at In-N-Out…

Cheeseburger with grilled onions! And extra spread.

But I came back home and decided I was hungry again.

This morning, the same four of us were supposed to go to Java in downtown for some thrifty shopping but Keung and her sister didn’t wake up on time. So Choong just picked me up and we went to their neighborhood. While we were waiting for them to get ready, I took pictures of the roses on their block.

Then we finally went out for brunch at Panera.

I wasn’t really hungry because I had already eaten while I was waiting for the siblings to wake up. But I still got a bagel to commemorate my first time there. They killed my cinnamon bagel though. They cut it weird so the top half was mutilated. It was the last cinnamon bagel though.

And a strawberry smoothie! Cannot forget that!

We went to church in the evening for dinner, but it tasted kind of shitty. We were just basically eating plain rice the entire time because there was no meat. And whenever there was, a whole lot of people just crowded around the table trying to stuff their faces.

So we went out for second dinner!
Keung’s sister and I shared Dogani Tang, which is Ox-knee soup. It was my first time eating it but I really, really liked it. My mom had described what it tasted like before and it was just as I had expected.

Yumyum!
