So this is what happened:
I decided to run down to the liquor store to get a couple bags of chips because I’ve been chip deprived. And Dodo comes running at me from across the street so I was OKAY GIRL CALM DOWN I’LL GET YOU FOOD. I went back upstairs, put the food where I normally do, and went to the liquor. I was walking back to my building, taking a glance at my cute Dodo to see if she’s eating well AND I SEE FOUR ADDITIONAL FURRY CREATURES.
AND I STARTED SCREAMING OF HAPPINESS AT THE SPOT EVERYBODY WAS LOOKING AT ME BUT I DIDN’T GIVE A SHIT BECAUSE I’M A GRANDMA NOW.
ALL THAT FEEDING, TRUSTING, AND LOVING HAS PAID OFF. I AM SO HAPPY.
I ran back up, grabbed my camera, and took shots. They’re black cats so I kind of had a hard time taking good pictures of them. I didn’t want to get too close because the kittens were really afraid of me even though I was like 5 feet away. She has four kittens, one died earlier at the corner of our block, but they kept hiding from me. One would not come out from behind that pink fence while I was in their proximity.

And it was getting dark so all this aperture shit made the shutter speed really slow and they were gobbling up the food really fast.
You probably are thinking, “They’re not very cute…”
BUT THEY ARE TO ME. BECAUSE I’M THEIR GRANDMA. I fed Dodo so much when she was pregnant, giving her both dry and wet food. I WAS THE ONE THAT GAVE HER THE STRENGTH AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO MAKE HEALTHY, CUTE BABIES. THEY DON’T KNOW THAT YET BUT THEY WILL SOON.
