Well, it’s not final or anything yet. I have to ask my mom. But my cousin’s parents said yes about keeping me for the weekend.

My cousin’s getting married on the 23rd of this month and I really wanted to go. I used to be terrified of him as a child but he was the first one to teach me how to read time when I was like four or something. He was so scary and made me feel like the stupidest four year old on the planet I was sobbing my eyeballs out. SERIOUSLY WHAT 4 Y/O NEEDS TO KNOW TIME. YOU JUST WAKE UP, EAT, PLAY, EAT, PLAY, EAT PLAY, AND K.O.

Anyway.

It started with me texting my girl cousin about bird care because I’m thinking about getting a bird but she told me to come by for her brother’s wedding.

AND THIS MORNING, RIGHT NOW, SHE TEXTS ME TO SAY HER PARENTS SAID YES.

I FEEL LIKE I’M FLYING.

I don’t know if I can see all my friends when I go this time because I’m only going to be there for the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. I don’t know, I’ll have to ask today if I can take time off from the 22nd to 25th-ish so I can stay longer. Even still, I’m not sure if I can see my friends especially with all the countdown to wedding D-Day to make everything perfect. And I don’t want to take too much time off work. My co-worker’s going to give me hell when I come back.

Sadly, it’s not going to be like last year where I was planning to go there and never come back. I wish it was like that though. But it’s way too soon of a notice to do that. I’m just happy that going to New York is very, very close to happening.
